The Capital Evening Show with Jimmy Hill 7pm - 10pm
Just days after receiving a Brit Award nomination, Olly Murs has been turning his hand to something new by attempting to break the world record for the number of cups of tea to be made in one hour!
The record attempt was part of a feature being filmed for T4 which saw the X Factor star return to his home town where Murs and a bunch of locals had to make 400 cups within the 60 minute time-frame.
The 'Please Don't Let Me Go' singer revealed the result of the world record attempt on his Twitter account posting;
"We broke the world record for most cups of tea in an hour!!!"
He followed his updates by posting;
"I'M A RECORD HOLDER!!!! Get in!!! Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that came today!! Was superb!! Loved it!! X"
The footage is due to be screened on the programme next month but you can check out a few pictures from Olly's Twitter below...
