Olly Murs has revealed a desire to move into serious acting in the future and says he would love to go to stage school and learn more about the craft.

The 'Troublemaker' singer has branched out away from music in recent years, presenting on The Xtra Factor and having a cameo on US teen drama 90210, and admits it is something he would like to pursue one day.

"If I was going to do acting I wouldn't want it to be, you know, because of who I am and what I'm doing, I get a job straight away," Olly explained on Daybreak this week. "I'd want to really go to stage school and learn more about it.

"I think it's important to walk into a casting or walk into a room with other actors and be able to say that I've done almost half of what you've done but I've learnt to do this job, I haven't just walked into it," he explained. "I think that's important because it's not as easy as people make out, it's tough."
