The 'Don't Wanna Go Home' singer has confirmed he will release new material later in 2012.
Jason Derulo has promised fans he will be back with another album before the end of the year.
The 'It Girl' singer, who is currently recovering from a serious neck injury, has insisted he will also kick off a brand new world tour in 2012 after being forced to cancel his 'Future History' tour back in January.
"There will definitely be a 2012 album and another tour," Jason told the Daily Star this week.
In addition to confirming that he is currently recording a whole new album Jason suggested that his tour would be entirely new rather than simply a rescheduling of the planned 'Future History' jaunt.
"I don't want to say it's rescheduling because it'll be off of a new album so it'll be a totally new tour and I'll have lots of music to show you," Jason added.
The 'Don't Wanna Go Home' singer has promised his new musical direction will be a "complete reinvention" when he returns later this year.
Jason Derulo revealed last month that he is expecting to be out of his neck brace within the next several weeks.
