Watch the singer play a new version of the track and album song 'Give Me Love'.

Ed Sheeran has performed a special extended version of 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You'.

The video, which you can watch below, shows the British singer performing the track alone in a recording studio for over ten minutes.

In between singing the lyrics to the track, Ed cleverly uses his guitar along with effects pedals to create drumbeats and an extended breakdown.

You can also watch a new version of 'Give Me Love'.

Ed has enjoyed continued success since the release of his debut album '+' last year.

The 'Drunk' singer is due to perform at Capital FM's Summertime Ball for the first time next month alongside the likes of Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Coldplay.

The event takes place at Wembley Stadium in London on 9th June.
