The British stars are among the latest names given the certification this month for their musical achievements.
Ed Sheeran and One Direction are among a series of British stars who have been named as the latest recipients of gold and platinum awards by The Recording Industry Association of America.
The RIAA's latest monthly certification announcement recognised the achievements of the boyband's single 'What Makes You Beautiful' as it was named as going four times platinum in the US.
Cher Lloyd was also seen to reach double platinum figures across the pond for her smash hit 'Want U Back'.
Ed Sheeran's debut album '+' was also included as a Gold award recipient with his record shifting over 500,000 copies.
There were a total of 14 albums and 25 digital singles which were rewarded in the RIAA's February breakdown including efforts from Pink and The Lumineers.
Meanwhile, Ed is currently working on his second studio album and the follow up to his debut.
The 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' singer recently teased a February 2014 release for the record as well as confirming new song 'Photograph'.
