The 'Lego House' singer speaks to Capital about the Essex star breaking the stigma of The X Factor.
Ed Sheeran has said Olly Murs deserves to be recognised for all his success since he was a contestant on the X Factor.
The 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' singer told Capital that the 'Heart Skips A Beat' singer has done enough to win a BRIT Award and other important accolades.
"People need to lose this whole like 'he's from the X Factor' stigma because it's been a while and he's one of the only people from The X Factor to have a career," he said. "He works hard."
"He doesn't think he's the best he doesn't think he's the worst. He's a humble dude and needs to be recognised in some way.
"I don't know if it's by the BRITs but someone needs to tip their hat and go well done."
Olly lost out to Ben Howard for British Male Solo Artist on the night – which was presented by Ed Sheeran.
