The 'Drunk' singer says people should never put on a fake persona in their lives.
Ed Sheeran has posted an emotional pledge to his fans on Twitter urging them to be true to themselves and not try to be someone they're aren't.
The 'Lego House' singer, who has faced rumours of a romance with friend and fellow singer Taylor Swift this past week, issued the post earlier today (7th March) as he told fans to try and just "be real".
"Please be real with yourself," Ed tweeted this evening. "The only person you can succeed at being is yourself.
"Don't put on a different persona in front of people, we can see through it," he added. "Be you."
The 'Small Bump' singer took to Twitter at the start of this week to dismiss claims of a secret romance between himself and 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer Taylor as "b******s".
