The first track from the extended play will be given away to his fans for free next week.
Ed Sheeran has confirmed that his highly anticipated new EP 'The Slumdon Bridge' is scheduled for release next month with the first track available next tuesday (24th January).
The 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' star will give away the extended play to his fans for free after previously admitting it will contain "some of the most interesting music" he has made for a while.
He took to his Twitter account to confrim the details to his fans.
He tweeted: "The first track from my forthcoming Slumdon Bridge collaboration EP drops on Tuesday. The full EP is out mid febuary."
The new EP is also set to feature one of the singer's favourite all time rappers, although Ed has kept the identity of the star a secret.
Meanwhile, the star recently achieved a total of four nominations at the BRIT Awards 21012 in the Best Album, Best British Single, British Breakthrough and British Male Artist categories.
