The 'Just The Way You Are' singer says there is a "beauty" in the old school look of his new video.
Bruno Mars has explained the concept of his music video for 'Locked Out Of Heaven' as "just old-fashion fun" and says there is a beauty in the simplistic nature of the concept.
The 'Grenade' singer unveiled the video late on Monday (15th October) and performs an underground live show in the promo in front of a crowd of fans, while the video itself features numerous old school video effects like film grain and static.
"The concept is just old-fashioned fun," Bruno revealed to MTV News after the unveiling. "No storyline, it's not me singing to a girl, you [just] get a good sense of what you're going to get live.
"It's very VHS-y. I love that man," Bruno explained. "It take me back to my childhood, when the tracking is off and the colour is off, there's a beauty in that."
He joked: "You'd have to stand by the TV with, like, aluminium foil all over you!"

The 'Just The Way You Are' singer explained that he wanted to premiere the video online as a treat for his fans, rather than releasing at a high profile premiere event.
Bruno Mars is due to return with his second studio album 'Unorthodox Jukebox' on 11th December.
