The 'Countdown' singer pays tribute to the First Lady and admits that she is an inspiration.
Beyonce has recorded a short video message explaining why she wrote a letter to the First Lady Michelle Obama.
The letter, published earlier this year, saw the 'Love On Top' star praised Michelle's ability to balance being a mother with her official duties.
"No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope, she's humble, loving, and sincere," Beyonce said in the letter.
In a video message published on US President and Michelle's husband Barack Obama's YouTube page, Beyonce said she was "in awe" of the First Lady.
"I wrote a letter to the First Lady because I wanted her to know that I'm very grateful for everything she's doing for our country and also women around the world," she said.
Beyonce's letter to Michelle Obama:
She continued: "I'm so in awe of Michelle Obama. Every time I see her, she inspires me. She empowers me, she encourages me to live a healthy lifestyle, to support our veterans."
In April, Michelle Obama publicly thanked Beyonce for her letter and was also spotted enjoying the singer's performances in New York in May with her daughters.
"Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to," the First Lady told Beyonce.
Beyonce welcomed the birth of her first child Blue Ivy Carter in January.
Meanwhile, Rita Ora has admitted that she is inspired by Beyonce and revealed that Destiny's Child was "my band" when she was younger.
"I was nearly choking when I met Beyonce, but she is the nicest," she admitted. "I call her an alien because I'm like, 'How do you do everything at once? You can't be human'."
