The '21' singer is said to be keen to move away from London to keep away from the city's pollution and smog.
Adele is reportedly considering a move to the countryside following fears the smog in London could affect her recovery following surgery last month.
The 'Someone Like You' singer underwent laser microsurgery on her vocal chords in November, and is allegedly looking to move out of the capital to West Sussex in the new year.
The operation went well but she still needs to take good care of herself," a source told The Mirror. "Adele is a London girl through and through, but she's never been particularly into the showbiz circuit so when it was suggested she move out of the city, she agreed immediately.
"The idea is for her to live in the countryside, away from the capital's smog and pollution."
The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer is said to be "desperate" to be recovered in time for the Grammy Awards in February, where she has been nominated for several big awards.
Adele recently admitted she is unlikely to release another new album for two or three years after deciding to take some time off from music.
