Capital FM's Ten Songs For...Everybody In Love

Beyonce  - 'Love On Top'
'The former Destiny's Child star is no stranger to belting out a love song when the time calls for it, with huge tracks like 'Crazy In Love' and 'Halo' both springing to mind. But it was on her 2011 single 'Love On Top' that new mum Beyonce declared, "Baby it's you! You're the one I love!" and gave her fans a truly uplifting love song to dance along to.

Girls across the world swooned in unison when 'Billionaire' singer Bruno Mars followed up his Travie McCoy guest spot with this heartfelt song about loving someone just as they are and promising there is "not a thing" he would change about the object of his romantic lead single.

'RiRi found huge success in late summer 2011 with her 'Vodafone Big Top 40' number one single 'We Found Love'. The 'Talk That Talk' star teamed up with Calvin Harris for the "hopeless" romance song, and the song's mesmerising music video only helped to ensure this was one people would be belting out in clubs across the world.

Aston, JB, Marvin and Oritse had everyone on the dance floor back in 2009 with this swoon-inducing number. Equal parts dance track and love song, the four boys declared their willingness to wait "forever and a day" for the girl of their dreams.

Bajan four-piece Cover Drive followed up their huge Big Top 40 hit 'Twilight' at the start of this year with new single 'Sparks', a song about the feeling you get when you see someone you've been apart from for a long time.

One of Usher's most popular tracks, and perhaps the most optimistically romantic, is his 2010 team-up with rapper Pitbull on 'DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love'. The song received huge praise from critics and was a a big hit on dance floors across the world.

The 18 year-old singer returned this year with a brand new single as well as a brand new sound. 'Boyfriend' sees Justin both rapping and singing in falsetto as he declares why he's the right guy for his girl. The songs has been well-received by both Beliebers and non-Believers alike and the 'Boyfriend' music video has already notched up over 25 million views in just over one week.

Coldplay - 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall'

If there's one thing Coldplay never fails to do its strike an emotional cord with their listeners and fans, and 'Mylo Xyloto' lead single 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' is no different. The song was a huge hit on both sides of the Atlantic and gave the band yet another stadium-shaker in their repertoire.

The nation's sweetheart Cheryl is back this year with her third studio album and a brand new single. The Calvin Harris-produced 'Call My Name' is a love song disguised as a dance track and is set to be a major hit for the former The X Factor judge when it's released this June.
