The Scottish event is expected to see "torrential downpours" as it kicks off later today.
Fans heading to the T In The Park Festival 2012 today (6th July) are being warned to expect "torrential downpours" over the weekend.
The annual Scottish event, which is headlined by The Stone Roses, Snow Patrol and Kasabian, kicks off this afternoon on what will be the best day of the weather.
Anyone heading down is being told to prepare for the conditions and bring wellies to the site in Balado, Kinross.
"Friday will probably be the best day weather-wise, but rain will always be close by," confessed a weather forecaster for the MeteoGroup. "It will get more unsettled into the evening with rain pushing up from northern England and settling over Scotland.
"Saturday will be much the same and there could be some torrential downpours in central Scotland.
"Sunday isn't looking greater either but there will be a few dry spells. It will also turn a bit cooler with northern winds making the area unseasonably cool," they added.

The Isle Of Wight Festival 2012 faced similar conditions with the site turning into a mud bath as heavy rain fell in the days before and during the event.
Fans going to T In The Park Festival 2012 can expect to see the likes of The Wanted, Nicki Minaj, Jessie J, Calvin Harris, Tinie Tempah and The Wanted.
