Celebs Go Dating star Steph Pratt has spoken out against axed dating expert, Nadia Essex, saying it was a 'conspiracy' to get Eden Blackman to quit the show, and says she thinks she was also targeted in her online trolling.
Celebs Go Dating star Steph Pratt has shed further light on the trolling controversy that saw Nadia Essex axed from the show mid-season, branding her a 'mean-hearted, unhappy person' who had a 'conspiracy' to get rid of her co-star Eden Blackman for a long time and is 'glad she got caught'.
The reality star, who appeared on the show and briefly dated co-star Joey Essex, revealed she and Nadia didn't get along during filming, saying: "When I was on the show Nadia was awful to me on and off camera, awful."
"I’m sure that some of her fake accounts were also trolling me".
"I was dating Joey and I knew Nadia before this and she wanted to be this Patti Stranger millionaire matchmaker and I think she’s been on this campaign to get Eden off the show since day one".
This Nadia Essex story is so messed up. Creating fake profiles to troll people is pretty low. Regardless of whether you're in the public eye or not. Glad C4/Lime have decided to axe her from #CelebsGoDating.— Elliot Gonzalez (@elliot_gonzalez) September 12, 2018
Nadia Essex is the lowest type of person. Imagine your friend/colleague creating fake social media accounts to target you🤯— als (@alscraig) September 12, 2018
This is shocking. Considering how much she would say about the trolling stuff... well well well... the many faces of Nadia Essex it seems 🐍— 𝔐𝔦𝔠𝔥𝔢𝔩𝔩𝔢 𝔓𝔯𝔶𝔡𝔢 (@michellepryde) September 12, 2018
The dating expert was axed from the show earlier week when show bosses found her to be 'mis-using social media', setting up fake Twitter accounts to 'troll' people, including reportedly her co-star Eden Blackman.
Eden, according to OK! Magazine, got help from analytics specialists who linked accounts that had sent him 'torrents of abuse' to Nadia's mobile number.
Nadia is yet to comment on her suspension or the Twitter accounts.
The show, which will air this Autumn on e4, announced Nadia will appear on the first part of the new series, before her replacement steps in. This series features Love Island's Eyal Booker and Olivia Atwood and TOWIE's Chloe Sims.
