WATCH: Yes. Shawn Mendes Did Just Team Up With A$AP Rocky For A Song About Clothes

Well that is something we never thought we’d write, but it’s happened!

As far as unlikely collaborations go, this is one we never thought we’d see – A$AP Rocky and Shawn Mendes have had a little jamming session and come up with a song about clothes… as you do.

Both A$AP and Shawn have both been named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the music category and they hung out backstage together at the Forbes 30 Under 30 Musical Festival in Philadelphia last night where they were performing and took some time out to write a little song together too.

The ‘Stitches’ star accompanied the rapper on guitar as he laid down the lyrics “Look at what I bought, Dior is the coat, you know what it cost” with Shawn taking over the chorus.

Shawn casually captioned the post “@asaprocky and i wrote a song back stage. @forbes haha” – erm, do you realize how big of a deal this is, Mr Mendes?!

We can only hope the pair were so inspired by their impromptu duet that there MAY be a proper collaboration in the works. If this is what they can knock together in a dressing room, imagine what they could do in proper studio time?!
