The South Korean star's huge viral hit has surpassed the feat previously achieved by LMFAO.
PSY's hit single 'Gangnam Style' has become the most liked video of all time on file sharing site YouTube.
The song has been "liked" 2,332,080 times at last count and surpassed the record previously occupied by LMFAO with 'Party Rock Anthem' - which now stands at 1,576,980.
"Having been the 'have you seen this?!' video of the last two months across the web, it's great to be able to award a record for this tremendously popular video," said Guinness World Records Community Manager Dan Barrett said.
"In years past it was unthinkable that something would be viewed a hundred million times, and now 'Gangnam Style' has achieved more than twice this figure in just three months on YouTube."
He added: "Psy - your certificate is waiting here at our office, come pick it up any time!"

Meanwhile, PSY will be vying for the top spot on the Vodafone Big Top 40 this week but faces stiff competition from last week's chart toppers The Script and new entries from DJ Fresh.
