Kylie Jenner criticised for "inappropriate" Instagram caption following Australia fires
7 January 2020, 17:27
Kylie was previously called out for wearing mink slippers right after saying she was heartbroken over the death of animals in the Australian bush fires.
Kylie Jenner has deleted the caption on her latest Instagram post after a fan mentioned how it could be perceived considering the current Australia's bushfire crisis. So far, 24 people have died, more than 1,000 homes have been destroyed and 500 million animals have been killed as a result of the blazes, which have been raging since last year.

In the image, Kylie is sitting in front of a fireplace in a fishnet bodysuit and yellow wig. She initially captioned the post: "find your fire," alongside a flame emoji.
However, Kylie's comment section was flooded with messages that she was being insensitive to the emergency unfolding in Australia, Buzzfeed reports. One comment read: "If anyone needs fire... you can have ours – Australia." Others called out Kylie's skincare business Kylie Skin for posting flame emoji's beneath her photo, saying it was not "appropriate" considering the situation.

Kylie has now changed her Instagram caption to "night out..," complete with a yellow heart emoji. This isn't the first time Kylie has received backlash over how she has handled her social media posts relating to the fires either.

Kylie herself caught some heat after reposting an image of a koala displaced by the fires and sharing her heartbreak on her Instagram Story. But moments later she then shared an image of her $1,480 Louis Vuitton slippers made from real mink fur.

Meanwhile, Kylie's sister Kim Kardashian has also been called out by fans who have said her private jet usage is contributing to climate change, which has contributed to the fires, experts say. Others accused her of not donating, and she clapped back on Twitter, insisting that she doesn't always share that information. Khloe Kardashian also jumped in and defended her.
