Whether it's a classic Disney film or a modern favourite, there are so many out there.
But whilst there are so many films and shows, many of them have a lack of characters from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
But this lack of diversity amongst animated characters has encouraged people to make a statement and they've been very creative.
People have been drawing images of themselves as different animated characters and posting them online using the hashtag #StyleChallenge.
Social media has been full of these brilliant images and provided some really intriguing results that would give professional animators a run for their money.
The whole idea was started by a 17 year old girl named Autumn when she posted this amazing image of herself as characters from Adventure Time, Family Guy and more.
We loved so many of them and here are a selection of our favourites.
