As rumours of David and Victoria Beckham's split spread like wildfire online, a representative has finally addressed the divorce claims.
The power of social media has proven itself today, as rumours quickly spread online of a divorce and a statement of separation was coming at any moment from David and Victoria Beckham. The news spread so far that betting agents even suspended bets on the celebrity husband and wife's split.

The Beckham's, who have been married for 19 years and have four children together, have finally addressed the rumours via one of David's representatives dismissing them as nothing more than gossip.
Reps for the ex-footballer said: "There is no statement due or divorce. This is just fake social media news. This is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time. There is no statement due, no divorce, and a lot of Chinese whispers and fake social media news."
The 'whispers' from earlier today even went as far as to claim David had not only had an affair with another woman, but had even got them pregnant.
But on that note, everyone can go back to their daily business, the panic over, as the whole thing has been solidly denied.
