Kylie Jenner has shut down rumours that she captioned an Instagram photo "brown-skinned girl".
The Kylie Cosmetics boss posted an image of herself in a black and white catsuit, holding the end of her ridiculously long ponytail during what appeared to be her birthday trip to Turks and Caicos. She captioned the post: "brown eyed girl," however a version captioned "brown-skinned girl" started circulating the internet.
Kylie received backlash for the comment, which is seemingly from the Beyoncé song 'Brown Skin Girl', a track about celebrating Black women from The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack.

The Shade Room reposted her image after it went viral and she commented beneath the post: "This is Photoshopped. Never said this. Have a good day."
Kylie then decided to set the record straight on her Instagram Stories, sharing both images and explaining again that the caption had been Photoshopped. She said: "Here's the fake version that everyone believed. Saw online someone Photoshopped this photo I posted to change my caption from 'brown eyed girl' to 'brown skinned girl.' I never said this."
She also posted an Instagram comment from a fan, which read: "I saw the photo as soon as it was posted and it said 'brown eyed' why do people need to make drama out of everything and invent lies."
People didn't quite believe Kylie, though, after they noticed that it says "edited" under her caption, confirming that it had been altered.
