We're already terrified.
American Horror Story has been responsible for our nightmares since 2011.
Thank you, Ryan Murphy for some of the most disturbing dreams we’ve ever had.
But it seems that no one can get enough of the cult TV show as it's returning for season 7.
Here’s what we know so far.
AHS will return to American TV on 5th September and whilst we don’t have an exact UK air date yet, the series is normally broadcast two days after the American showing.
We only found out at the end of July that the new season of AHS was going to be called ‘Cult’.
We found out a couple of months ago that the next season of American Horror Story is going to be loosely based on the 2016 election.
A fan asked producer, Ryan Murphy, on Twitter about the location and he simply replied, ‘Michigan’. This is a key state in how the American election panned out.

In a new interview, he commented that “the first 10 minutes of the season, this season, takes place in a very eerie macabre way on election night and there’s something terrible that happens in the live of our characters on election night at they’re watching it all go down”.
The confirmed, returning cast are as follows:
There’s also new cast members:
We’re really sorry guys but Lady Gaga will not be returning to American Horror Story this season.
She’s been a fixture on the show for the past two seasons and with the politically-minded upcoming seventh season on the horizon, we thought she was going to be a dead set to be recast. However, it was not meant to be because of her commitments to other projects - probably most likely the remake of A Star Is Born, where she’s starring alongside Bradley Cooper.
Yes and it's very hard to watch.
