MTV Video Music Awards 2016: Beyoncé And Adele Lead The Nominations List

With a massive 11 nominations, Queen Bey is leading the way, with Adele chasing her with eight. Check out the FULL list of nominees for this year's ceremony.

We all knew 'Lemonade' was a ground-breaking album, but the 2016 MTV Video Music Award nominations have gone to prove it, with Beyoncé earning 11 nominations for the visual spectacle, including 'Video of the Year', 'Best Female Video' and 'Best Collaboration'.

The event - which will take place at New York's Madison Square Garden, on 28th August 2016 - will see how many awards Adele will walk away with, having been nominated for eight this year. Other nominees include Drake, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber.
