The 'Wasting Light' band were named winners at tonight's BRITs ceremony in London.

Foo Fighters were named Best International Group for the second time tonight (21st February) at the BRIT Awards 2012.

The 'Walk' band won over fellow nominees Kanye West, Fleet Foxes, Lady Att and Maroon 5, and accepted the honour via video feed after being introduced by Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor.

Thank you so much," frontman Dave Grohl said, while accepting the award. "England, the UK has always been like our second home and where we first started playing our biggest shows and the first place that really got the Foo Fighters in a big way."

He added: "We'll cherish this forever. We love you and we'll be back soon."

Foo Fighters follow the likes of Adele, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Rihanna, Lana Del Rey and Bruno Mars as winners at tonight's BRITs 2012 live from London's O2 Arena.
