BRIT Awards 2013: The Black Keys Win International Group

The 'Lonely Boy' duo won over the likes of Fun. and The Killers at this year's ceremony.

The Black Keys were named Best International Group at the BRIT Awards 2013 tonight (20th February).

The American rock duo beat several other big names to win the gong at today's awards ceremony at London's O2 Arena.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl presented the award, which saw the 'Lonely Boy' band competing against the likes of Fun., The Killers, The Script and Alabama Shakes.

The Black Keys were unable to accept their Best International Group award in person at the event so Dave Grohl accepted the trophy on their behalf.

The Black Keys have achieved huge success over the course of their career, particularly with their 2011 studio album 'El Camino'.

The BRITs 2013 has seen a host of winners already named tonight including Emeli Sande winning British Female Solo Artist, Lana Del Rey winning International Female Solo Artist and Coldplay winning Best Live Act.

The music industry event has also seen several huge performances over the evening from the likes of Justin Timberlake, One Direction, Taylor Swift, Robbie Williams and Muse.
