Drake and Cardi B lead the nominations at this year's American Music Awards, with eight nods each. Let's face it - who's honestly shocked by that news?

The AMAs - which will be hosted by blackish actress, Tracee Ellis Ross, in Los Angeles - will see the likes of Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Camila Cabello possibly walk away with awards.

Some fans are, however, shocked to see that the likes of Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj were snubbed for their new music, with the 'God is a woman' singer only receiving one nomination; for Favourite Social Artist.
