A Taylor Swift cover featured on Killing Eve was performed by a band that doesn't exist

Killing Eve fans will have heard a cover of Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" in the BBC drama's latest episode - but it turns out it was actually the singer along with her brother, under the pseudonym Jack Leopards & The Dolphin Club to prevent any money going to Scooter Braun...

Taylor Swift is the queen of polite clap backs to people that have wronged her - and what better way to teach Scooter Braun and Big Machine Records a lesson than re-releasing 'Look What You Made Me Do' under a totally fake name?

And we're getting two for the price of one, because the pseudonym is actually the secret name for Taylor and her brother Austin Swift as a duo, and they've already re-released one of her songs held in captivity by Scooter Braun, under the band, which allegedly will means no profit for Braun.

Fans of BBC drama Killing Eve will have heard a cover of the hit 2017 song from her album Reputation on the latest episode of the show, but Swifties have already de-bunked that it wasn't just anyone behind it - it was Taylor and her brother, with him on vocals.

28-year-old actor Austin has already had his older sister beg the show's creator, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, to let him appear on the soundtrack after they met at the Golden Globes this year. And it appears it's paid off, because fans of Taylor will have noticed some very familiar name credits on the new version of the track...

Nils Sjöberg, her initial songwriting pseudonym has been listed as one of the "producers" of the cover, along with a tweet by Taylor herself claiming that she was "so excited" that a cover of her song had been featured on Killing Eve.

Nils' first appeared on the credits for ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris' collaboration with Rihanna on 'This Is What You Came For' back in 2015, when it was revealed that it was actually Taylor behind the anthem.

Because the song has almost nothing to do with Taylor as an artist, we're not-so-sorry to also announce that not a single cent of the money made from the cover will go to Scooter Braun or Big Machine Records.

Taylor used her latest music video for 'The Man' to take a dig at the record label giant who now own the rights to almost all of the music she has released since she was 15, where she tactically placed 'no scooters' signs in the subway, and parodied the way that women in the industry are treated. Points were made.

We're living for the subtle shade of the duos new venture and sincerely hope we're getting an entire angsty-teen backlog of all of Taylor's classics.
