The Jonas Brothers star says ex-girlfriend Taylor's new single is definitely not written about their relationship.

Joe Jonas has assured fans Taylor Swift's brand new single 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' is not about him, but says he thinks the hotly tipped pop song is 'great'.

The 'Gotta Find You' singer and country pop star Taylor were romantically involved for much of 2008, however the 23 year-old insists her new song, which warns an ex-boyfriends that she isn't interested any more, is definitely not aimed at him.

"I don't we've ever tried [getting back together] another time, so I can tell you it's not about me!" Joe told Washington DC's Fresh FM.

The Jonas Brothers star did say he is a big fan of the song itself and went on to praise 'Love Story' singer Taylor's live show experience.

"That said, I think the song is great," he added. "Taylor does pop music really well and I'm happy for her."

"I haven't really spoken to her recently, but I was able to go to her concert last year, and her show live is so phenomenal."
