The 'Begin Again' singer predicts Ed will become one of the "all-time great" songwriters of this generation.
Taylor Swift has named Ed Sheeran the "most in-demand" songwriter of the moment and has suggested the likes of Justin Bieber and Rihanna are keen to have the UK star pen hits for them.
The 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer wrote with Ed over the summer for her new album 'Red', recording a song called 'Everything Has Changed' with him, and says the 'Lego House' singer could end up becoming one of the "all-time great songwriters" of this generation.
"I think Ed is fast becoming the most in-demand songwriter in the world," Taylor told the Daily Star this week. "It was a pleasure working with him.
"He has real talent," the US star explained. "Writing for One Direction has pretty much made him in demand from everybody.
"I know Justin Bieber loves his songs and I have heard Beyonce and Rihanna want him to write for then as well," she added. "He's a talented performer too, but in 20 years we could be looking back at him as one of the all-time great songwriters."

The 'Give Me Love' singer is set to join Taylor on her North American 'Red' tour in 2013, recently saying she feels like the "luckiest girl in the world" to have the popular UK star supporting her on tour.
Taylor Swift was one of the big winners at the American Music Awards 2013 last weekend where she picked up her the gong for Best Female Country Artist, as well as performing her new single 'I Knew Your Were Trouble' live at the event.
