The country star will debut new single for the first time at the industry event in Los Angeles next month.
Taylor Swift has been added to the line-up of performers at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
The 'Love Song' star will performer her latest release 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' for the first time at the event which takes place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on 6th September.
The country singer joins the likes of One Direction, Green Day, Pink and Alicia Keys who have already been confirmed to take to the stage at the music event.
The evening will be hosted by US comic Kevin Hart and sees some of the biggest names in music going head to head for the prestigious 'Moonman' awards.
Drake and Rihanna are the most nominated artists of at the ceremony picking up a total of five nods each including for their collaborative single 'Take Care'.
Justin Bieber, The Wanted, Beyonce and Chris Brown are also amongst those nominated for some of the biggest prizes.
Meanwhile, Taylor is preparing to release her new album 'Red' on 22nd October – which will feature a collaboration with Ed Sheeran.
