The 'Love Story' singer says fan support for her 2012 album 'Red' has "blown" her mind.
Taylor Swift issued a heartfelt thank you to all of her fans while picking up her gong at the People's Choice Awards 2013 last night.
The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer was named Favourite Country Artist at the ceremony in Los Angeles on Wednesday (9th January), and admitted fan reaction to her new album 'Red' has "blown" her mind.
"I want to thank the fans because this is a fan-voted award and I absolutely love you. Oh my god!," Taylor said, while accepting the gong. "And I want to thank radio and the fans for calling radio and being, 'play her music!', thank you for doing that.
The 'Begin Again' singer also had a humorous exchange with award presenter Olivia Munn, who claimed Taylor's recent hit 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' was actually written about her.
"You guys have blown my mind with what you've done with this album 'Red', and I want to thank you for caring about my music and caring about me," Taylor added. "Thank you so much you guys, I love you."
The US star opted for a full length low-cut white gown for her attendance at the People's Choice Awards, with her blonde hair tied back.
