Taylor Swift joined the likes of Ariana Grande and Beyoncé in snubbing last night's GRAMMYs after being 'shut out' of nominations.
Taylor Swift was noticeably absent from last night's GRAMMYs award ceremony, snubbing the event to support her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn at the BAFTA's held on the same evening after claims she was 'shut out' of nominations for her album, 'Reputation.'
Refraining from actually calling out The Recording Academy like Ariana Grande and Drake, Taylor chose to contain her shade to everything she wasn't saying, choosing to upload an Instagram of her Stella McCartney gown, captioning the post:
"AHHHHH @thefavouritemovie just won 7 @bafta awards !!! Bout to go give some high fives - thanks @stellamccartney for this dressss."
Taylor only received one GRAMMY nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album, which was won by Ariana for 'Sweetener', and fans of the singer have been voicing their anger at the lack of recognition and threatening to follow in the singer's footsteps and boycott the ceremony.
Taylor Swift doesn’t need the #GRAMMYs this era. 🤷🏻♂️ With her last album she made the music she wanted to, said everything she needed to say, and reclaimed her reputation. ugh i truly love @taylorswift13 with my whole heart pic.twitter.com/YFpsjD7oni— Oscar Gracey (@oscargracey) February 10, 2019
From fan footage show TayTay, who already has ten GRAMMYs, looking truly unbothered, spending her evening at the BAFTA after-party cozying up to Joe, dancing and mingling with guests.
Joe starred alongside Olivia Coleman and Emma Stone in The Favourite which scooped up a whopping seven awards at last night's BAFTA ceremony.
This has turned out to be a pretty shade-filled year for The GRAMMYs, who were dissed by Drake as he accepted an award for Best Rap Song and called out by Ariana who fell out with producers over her (cancelled) performance.
