During a recent appearance on The Ellen Show, Taylor answered whether she washes her legs in the shower and her response left people with a lot of questions.

We are now entering week 2 of the internet's Great Leg Washing Debate and I regret to inform you that the discourse is ongoing. People have been debating whether it is necessary to wash your legs during a shower (reader, it is necessary) and some folks have had very fascinating opinions on the subject. This week, Taylor Swift weighed in on the debate over whether you should wash your legs in the shower and her answer left people more confused than ever.

Taylor stopped by The Ellen Show this week to talk about her new music and, apparently, discuss the very normal topic of personal hygiene on national television.

During the interview, Ellen asked Taylor "do you wash them?" referring to the superstar's legs.

Taylor responded in the affirmative, saying, "I do, cuz, when you shave your legs, the shaving cream is like, soap, right?"

Ellen then asked what happens when Taylor is in the shower but doesn't need to shave her legs. To which Taylor responded "I kind of always shave my legs".

Confused, Ellen asked the singer whether shaving her legs was an "every day" thing and Taylor responded that she does indeed shave her legs every day.

Honestly, I wish Ellen had never pulled this thread because now I'm sitting here wondering if I should be shaving my legs daily.
