The 'A Team' singer says people are only getting in touch with him so he'll tweet links to their music.
Ed Sheeran has hit out on Twitter at friends asking him to help promote their music, and says he is resorting to "taking a break" from it for now.
The 'Lego House' singer often shares new music discoveries with his fans on Twitter but claims he has been inundated with supposed friends asking him to tweet out links to their music.
"I swear I promote other people's music more than I promote my own on here," Ed tweeted last night (1st October). "17 inbox messages, 16 asking the same thing.
"I'm gonna take a break from doing that now, hope people are cool with that," the 'Lego House' singer explained. "If you wanna catch up then that's awesome, but all I am doing is just tweeting links."

Earlier this month Taylor Swift opened up about her friendship with Ed, after touring together throughout this year, and said she convinced him to buy a house out in Nashville.
Ed Sheeran most recently featured as a vocalist on Lupe Fiasco's new song 'Old School Love'.
