The 'Who's Laughing Now?' singer says she feels emotional about performing alongside some of her musical heroes at the soul tribute event this month.
Jessie J says she "can't wait" to perform alongside the likes of Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson at the annual VH1 Divas Celebrate Soul event in New York later this month.
The 'Who You Are' singer is due to appear at the VH1 tribute event, which celebrates all the cities that pioneered the musical genre, alongside other performers likes Mary J Blige, Jill Scott and Florence and the Machine.
When asked by a fan on Twitter whether she was looking forward to the concert Jessie admitted she was a big fan of all the artists on the line-up.
"I literally tear up thinking about it," Jessie replied. "Near enough all my fav singers are going to be there #cantwait"
Jessie has said recently she has a lot to be thankful for in 2012 and is due to star on the judging panel for new BBC show The Voice alongside Will.i.am, Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue from Spring next year.
VH1's Divas Celebrate Soul will air on 19th December.
