Rihanna's new music video for her latest single 'Where Have You Been' has beaten Nicki Minaj's 'Stupid Hoe' to the title of most plays in 24 hours on the file sharing site VEVO.
The 'We Found Love' star premiered the track at the start of the week and urged her followers to back the campaign to achieve the new record which has paid off thanks to views of almost five million beating Nicki's previous best of 4.8 in January.
"NUMBERS ARE IN! After filtering out the BS & triple-checking, @Rihanna #WHYBvideo24hrRECORD stands @ 4,937,281! Congrats," the official VEVO Twitter account stated.
The song is the latest to be lifted from the star's recent studio album 'Talk That Talk' and the singer will soon be starring in the new Coldplay video for their collaborative track 'Princess Of China' which is expected to air later this month.
