Rihanna Pays Tribute To Her Grandmother To Mark First Anniversary Of Her Death

The 'We Found Love' singer posts an emotional message on her Instagram page one-year on.

Rihanna paid tribute to her late grandmother Dolly this weekend as she marked the first anniversary of her death.

The Bajan star said goodbye to her family member last year following a long illness and her huge chest tattoo design was a tribute to her.

Taking to her Instagram page, the singer posted a series of pictures of the pair and an emotional message.

"Today marks one year since you crossed the bridge! Still you never left... I can still remember your laugh, and I miss it, I miss the sound of your voice, your beautiful hands, the way you danced and got so happy when you heard music," she wrote.

"i miss doing your makeup and taking your pictures, I miss the way you looked right at me, and I miss looking back at you, that proud look on your face! Never did I think it could be this soon.

"but I'm happy you're in Heaven, laughing and dancing with the Angels! Dolly you are my precious Angel, I love you beyond what words can describe! I just miss you Gran Gran! #Dolly #FirstAnniversary."

She then also added: "#Dolly my heart won't let me forget any of you! You were the best! Just a beautiful person...and your strength!!! #myrolemodel."

Meanwhile, Rihanna's younger brother Rorrey has been speaking about his time growing up with the singer and their childhood in Barbados.

He also called his sister and Chris Brown "soul mates" and revealed how their mother no longer disapproves of the 'Talk That Talk' star's wardrobe.
