The 'We Found Love' singer thanked her fans for supporting her "no matter what" while accepting the award.
Rihanna picked up the award for Best International Female Artist at the BRIT Awards 2012 tonight (21st February) at London's O2 Arena.
The 'You Da One' singer was presented with the award for the second year in a row by Formula One racing driver Jensen Button.
"All the radio DJs and all the music video channels, everyone at Mercury, and all my fans who continue to support me no matter what," Rihanna told the sold-out arena while accepting her prize. "My fans always remind me that it's alright to be myself and I'll never forget that."
Host James Corden praised the 'We Found Love' star for selling over 20 million albums worldwide over the course of her career.
Rihanna is expected to take to the stage at London's O2 tonight to perform for tonight's BRITs ceremony.
