Rihanna Stars In Super Bowl Trailer For New Movie Battleship - Video

Watch the brand new trailer for the 'Talk That Talk' star's forthcoming movie.

Rihanna features in the new trailer for Battleship, which debuted during the Super Bowl.

The 'You Da One' singer plays a weapons officer called Raikes in the movie, which is released this spring.

In the new trailer, an armada of ships comes under attack from an alien race. 

Battleship, which is based on the game of the same name, also stars Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgård, Brooklyn Decker and Liam Neeson.

Speaking to Capital FM recently, Rihanna described her involvement in the movie as "one of the coolest experiences I've ever had in my life".

She added: "Being out their in the ocean, literally shooting weapons with (director) Peter Berg, Liam Neeson and Taylor Kitsch. It's really surreal to be in the centre of all that for my first film, but I'm really comfortable working in that group."

Battleship is scheduled to hit cinemas on 18th May, 2012.
