The 'We Found Love' star admits she found it uncomfortable to listen to her American accent in the Battleship movie.
Rihanna has confessed that she doesn't like to hear her own voice when she speaks and found it difficult to listen to herself talking with an American accent in the new movie Battleship.
The 'Talk That Talk' star admitted it is something which she has to get used to and told Access Hollywood she's always struggled with the idea.
"I hate to hear myself speak," Rihanna explained. "Especially because I was speaking in an American accent… but I guess I've always been like that. I hate to hear myself speak, so now it's a whole different thing. I have to get used to it."
The Bajan star also told MTV how "weird" she found it watching herself on screen for the first time.
"I definitely was weirded out in seeing myself onscreen, and hearing myself speak in an American accent," she admitted. "It was weird but cool I think."
Meanwhile, Rihanna recently unveiled the highly anticipated music video for her new single 'Where Have You Been' and has also announced plans to design a male fragrance in the future.
