Zayn Malik And Perrie Edwards Engagement Confirmed By Little Mix Star's Mum

The One Direction star and his girlfriend sparked rumours they are to marry at last night's movie premiere for This Is Us.

One Direction star Zayn Malik is engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards.

The news was confirmed by Perrie's mum Debbie in an interview with the Dorset Echo.

"I'm over the moon. They are really in love," she told the publication.

The 'Gotta Be You' star and the girl band member sparked rumours of an engagement last night at the premiere of This Is Us in London, when Perrie was sporting a diamond ring on her wedding finger.

The proposal took place this past weekend and it's claimed Perrie didn't want to make the news public on the band's big night. 

No date has been set for the big day and Perrie's brother Jonnie also took to Twitter to confirm the news.

He wrote: "Right, My sister and Zayn ARE Engaged! It's true! You seen the ring on the finger and all that Jazz! CONGRATS!!!"

Meanwhile, Zayn's bandmate Liam Payne has recently confirmed that he is no longer single after revealing details of his relationship with school friend Sophia Smith.
