The 'Gotta Be You' singers will be heading over to America to support US boy band Big Time Rush on tour.

One Direction have revealed they will be going on tour in the US sometime in the near future.

Band member Louis Tomlinson says they have just confirmed a support slot with American boy band Big Time Rush, and are looking forward to taking their music stateside.

“We’ve just confirmed that we’re going on tour in America,” Louis told The Metro yesterday (18th November). “We don’t really know what to expect.

“Obviously, we haven’t really done that much promotion over in the States so it’s going to be interesting to see where we stand.”

Louis said the boys are hoping to stay with The X Factor boss Simon Cowell during their time in the US, and joked they are planning to have “a little house party” during their visit.

When asked about their plans for the future, fellow band member Zayn Malik insisted One Direction will be around for some time to come.

“People who say The X Factor contestants have no longevity – they actually do,” Zayn added. “If you do it right, then you know you can be pretty successful after The X Factor.”
Yesterday (17th November) One Direction held an online listening party in the early evening giving fans a chance to hear their debut album in full for the first time.

One Direction’s first studio album ‘Up All Night’ is due to be released on 21st November following the release of second single 'Gotta Be You' this week.
