The Team GB star says he would love to star in one of the 'One Thing' band's music videos in the future.
Tom Daley has revealed he is good friend with One Direction and would happily feature in one of their music videos if the UK boy band asked him to.
The Team GB diving champion, who picked up bronze in the men's 10m diving final during the London 2012 Olympic Games, did say he might need 'Call My Name' singer Cheryl Cole to give him some dancing and singing tips before taking on such a task.
"If they ever need me for a music video, I'll go in the background and do a bit of clicking," Tom revealed in this week's Heat magazine. "I"m not a singer though.
"Cheryl will need to teach me to sing and dance," he joked, referring to his promise of teaching Cheryl to dive in the future.
18 year-old Tom went on to say that he is in contact with the 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers, who he describes as all being 'nice guys" after getting to meet Harry, Niall, Zayn, Louis and Liam through his work in the Olympics.
"I've met them all and I'm in contact with most of them," Tom explained. "They're all really nice guys.
"Louis came and watched the [diving] final," he added. "Liam wanted to but couldn't get tickets."

Earlier this week after being pictured on a night out with band member Liam Payne, Tom Daley joked that he had joined One Direction as their sixth member.
'Gotta Be You' singers One Direction have been working hard in the recording studio for the past several months on the follow-up to their 2011 debut 'Up All Night'.
One Direction have promised to announce some big news later this evening.
