One Direction's Niall Horan Denies He Is Dating Anyone: "I'm Still Single"

The 'One Thing;' singer admits he is not romantically involved with Demi Lovato or anyone else at the moment.

One Direction singer Niall Horan has confessed that any reports of him dating at the moment are false as he is currently single.

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' star has been linked to Demi Lovato for much of 2012 and most recently a 20 year-old drama student.

However, speaking to Now magazine, he rubbished any such talk and said he isn't currently looking for a relationship.

"Yup, definitely single," he told the publication. "Yeah…I'm not actually looking but if the right person came along, definitely"

He also spoke out about the continuing rumours which surround himself and X Factor USA star Demi.

"What actually happened was that I always used to say in my interviews that I liked her and she also said she liked me. We got in contact through Twitter and we just started chatting and became friends," he declared.

"Demi's one of the nicest girls I know. She's super-cool. She always texts me to see how I am. Nothing ever really happened." 

They were also said to have had their first date when Niall and the band went to the MTV Video Music Awards last month.

He did admit that the intimate meeting did take place.

"When I've been in LA and had a few hours to myself, I've seen her a couple of times. We did go for a bit of dinner after the MTV Video Music Awards," he confessed.

Meanwhile, One Direction are currently preparing to release their second studio album 'Take Me Home' on 12^th November and this week, they premiered their Ed Sheeran penned new single 'Little Things'.
