The 'Little Things' stars were performing in Sal Lake City when the incident took place.
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson was seen getting hit with a fans' shoe during the group's performing in Salt Lake City recently.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers were performing on top of a platform when the rogue shoe came down to strike the star and his mic stand.
Bandmate Harry Styles was also seen flinching as Louis moved back slightly.
He shook his head and carried on during the rest of the song 'Moments' as more items began to make their way towards the stars.

Harry was also seen getting struck with a shoe in the groin earlier in the year.
He later received an apology by the fan in question who insisted they never meant to harm the singer.
