The One Direction stars discuss the early days of the band and their turbulent relationship.

One Direction's Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne have opened up about not getting on with one another during the very early days of the group.

The clip is taken from the DVD extras for their This Is Us movie and talks all about how Liam has been labeled the "daddy" of the group.

"We used to be at each other's throats on The X Factor," explained Louis.

Liam added: "There was one point where I literally wanted to whack him."

The rest of the group also discuss Liam's father-like tendencies with Zayn teasing they have started to "corrupt" their bandmate.

One Direction released their This Is Us movie back in the summer as they took over London's Leicester Square for the world premiere.
