The 'Little Things' singer has posted an angry message after watching the TV documentary this week.
One Direction star Liam Payne has taken to Twitter to angrily hit out at the recent Channel 4 documentary about their fans, while reassuring them how much the boys appreciate their support.
The 'Best Song Ever' singer and his bandmates were the focus of a programme on Thursday evening (15th August) about some of the band's biggest superfans, called Crazy About One Direction, which has led to outrage among One Direction fans on Twitter over their portrayal.
However, after hearing rumours of fans getting upset over the documentary and seeing the related trend '#ThisIsNOTUs', Liam took to Twitter to weigh in on the drama.
"Just so all of you know we love you guys and we know how dedicated you are and tbh we can't believe it that you guys spend all your time on us," Liam tweeted last night (16th August).
"We couldn't give a f**k what any documentary says," he continued. "There dramatised for entertainment and full of bullshit anyway.
"We all know how hard you work for us and see it every day at our shows," Liam explained. "Let's all take a step back and think about what we/you have all achieved.
"You should be proud," the boy band star added.

The band are now preparing for the world premiere of their new 3D concert movie This Is Us next Tuesday (20th August) in London's Leicester Square, where Capital will be coming to you with a live blog of the event all day.
One Direction's film This Is Us will then hit cinemas in the UK on 29th August and a day later in the US.
