The group open up about one of the hottest Christmas presents in 2012.

One Direction have revealed that some of their families own their doll range.

The group's doll collection is available in the UK and US, and is expected to be a big hit this Christmas period.

Speaking to MTV News, the group admitted that they were still surprised to have their own mini-mes.

"You never imagine that you're going to have this little version of yourself," Harry Styles said. "It's amazing."

With One Direction spending much of the time on the road, Liam Payne admitted that his sister proudly displays the entire doll collection in her home.

One Direction's dolls see them wearing the clothes they wore during their first appearance on The Today Show:

"My sister's actually got them up in the house," he said. "So we're just there in the corner, 'Hello!'"

Asked if they thought the dolls resembled their likeness, Zayn Malik replied: "I think Niall's is really good. Actually, Niall's doll actually looks a lot like him; Louis' is good as well."

"I think they all look good," Louis Tomlinson added.

One Direction are currently preparing to play their biggest gig ever at Madison Square Garden in New York next month before appearing on the opening night of the Jingle Bell Ball, which takes place at the O2 Arena on the 8th and 9th December.
