Demi Lovato: "Niall Horan Is Not My Boyfriend"

The X Factor USA judge dismisses recent claims that she is "casually dating" the One Direction singer.
Demi Lovato has refuted reports that she is in a relationship with One Direction singer Niall Horan.
The 'Skyscraper' star was rumoured to be "casually dating" the 'What Makes You Beautiful' this week but has told Teen Vogue that she thinks the boy band star is a "sweet guy", but they're just friends.
"He's a really awesome, sweet guy. But he's not my boyfriend," she explained. "I'm in a place right now where I really need to focus on myself.
"I need to not be in a relationship for a while because I need to be okay with being alone, first."
The pair have been rumoured to be romantically involved ever since Niall revealed they had shared a series of dates over Skype earlier this year.
The rumour mill went into overdrive last month as well when the two were spotted enjoying a dinner date in LA following the MTV Video Music Awards 2012.
Simon Cowell was also seen warning Demi to "stay away" from the Irish star in a backstage clip from auditions on The X Factor.
Meanwhile, Niall's bandmate Liam Payne has also been linked with former X Factor champion Leona Lewis after splitting with girlfriend Danielle Peazer recently.
