The 'One Thing' stars say they can't wait to hit the stage at London's O2 Arena for the performance.

One Direction have revealed that they will be performing their new song 'One Way Or Another' at this year's BRIT Awards.

The track, a cover of Blondie single or the same name, will act as this year's official Comic Relief single and the boy band admitted they were "excited" to be perfoming their new song.

"Getting the chance to perform Blondie's song will be incredible," said Louis Tomlinson. "We're so excited!"

The boys will be joined on the performers line-up for the event by the likes of Mumford & Sons, Muse and Robbie Williams.

The band have also unveiled the official release date for the single, which will be available to download on 17th February.

One Direction are also up for British Group on the night, aiming to add to their 2012 win for Best British Single with 'What Makes You Beautiful'.

The BRITs 2013 will take place live from London's O2 Arena on 20th February.
