One Direction Cover Backstreet Boys Song 'I Want It That Way' On Tour – Video

The 'Little Things' stars get the seal of approval for their rendition of the song by the 90s boyband.

One Direction performed an impromptu rendition of the classic Backstreet Boys single 'I Want It That Way' during their 'Take Me Home' tour gig in Stockholm this week.

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singers took on the 90s track after being requested to perform it during their fan Twitter Q&A section of the show.

Backstreet Boys also later took to their social networking accounts to praise the British stars for their performance.

"Heard @OneDirection did an impromptu performance of "I Want It That Way" in Sweden last night. Well done bros!" they wrote.

The cover sent fans wild with deafening screams inside the Friends Arena.

Meanwhile, the group are also preparing to hit the big screen this summer for their 3D picture This Is Us.
